Dimitri Pietquin was born in 1978 in Sambreville, Belgium. He works at the “La Maisonee” centre in Haut-Ittre. Pietquin began by decorating his notebooks with his own word pictures. Eventually he applied this method to create large format works, too. His themes are aeroplanes, boats and cars, which he draws in ink and adorns with accompanying texts.
