Mario Jambresic was born in Paderborn, Germany, in 1966. Since 1981, the artist has lived in a group home in Bielefeld, where he creates his works of art during his free time, withdrawn in his room. The cut-out male paper figures, drawn with coloured pencils, are his talismans. Once he has completed them, he always carries one or other with him, folded up small, in his jacket or trouser pocket.
